The Westchester Brain Tumor Program: Where Clinical Trials, Research, and Treatment Meet

The Westchester Brain Tumor was launched in 2011 as a professional collaboration between three leading institutions: the Westchester Neuroscience Research Foundation, Northern Westchester Hospital, and Westchester Medical Center. Working together, these partners can offer the best brain tumor care possible, offering adults and pediatric patients individualized treatment based on the unique pathology of the patient’s brain tumor.

The Westchester Neuroscience Research Foundation
The Westchester Brain Tumor Program is funded in part by the Westchester Neuroscience Research Foundation. The foundation was created in 2009 by Dr. John M. Abrahams to raise awareness and educate the population about malignant brain tumors and raise funds to support clinical and basic science research. The Foundation manages some of the protocols in the Westchester Brain Tumor Program and funds selected basic science projects on a yearly basis. The foundation is based in White Plains, N.Y.

The Cancer Center at Northern Westchester Hospital
The Cancer Center’s physicians include top oncologists, surgeons, and specially trained nurses and technicians who excel in treating an extensive list of cancers. The technologies used are the most effective available and many are non-invasive or minimally invasive, providing faster recoveries and better outcomes. The Center is based in Mount Kisco, N.Y.
